As a school we are following the advice from Public Health England regarding Coronavirus. It is an ever changing situation and we will keep you up to date with developments. As the advice has now changed we wish to update you on the school's approach:
If you or a family member are unwell
If you or a family member is experiencing a high temperature and a new and persistent cough please follow medical advice and self-isolate. Children must remain off school, work will be set via Class Charts. If you suspect Covid 19 exposure please call 111 and follow their advice, do not go to your GP or walk in centre.
Update to Self-isolation Guidance
With regards to returning travellers, the UK government has very recently updated its guidance and withdrawn the need for any of these pupils or staff members to self-isolate on their return unless they are displaying any symptoms. Please refer to the Stay At Home Guidance below:-
If you decide that you are self-isolating you must inform school. We will not accept any child back to school until the 7 days is up. Any child who is brought to school who we have been told is self-isolating before the 7 days will be asked to go home; this will be strictly enforced.
