Notre Dame was proud to take part in National Anti-Bullying Week 13th-17th Nov 2017, with the theme being: 'All Different, All Equal'.
Pupils took part in a number of different activities such as assemblies and discussions in form time. We also had promotion of help available in school and by different charitable organisations. In particular, a whole school anti-bullying poster competition took place with students from all years involved.
Pupils designed posters that reflected this year’s theme of respect towards people from all backgrounds particularly highlighting the key point that we are ‘all equal’.
The winner of the competition would receive a gift voucher, as well as a selection box, with some prizes also going to some of the runners up.
The worthy winner of the top prize of a £20 gift voucher for Sainsbury’s, picked by Mrs Harrison was Libby Hedson Collins in 9T. Her brilliant and artistic poster best projected the clear message of the Anti-bullying campaign: 'All Different, All Equal'.
Libby’s poster has now been put up all around the school for all to see, enjoy and catch the message that needs to be understood. Well done Libby!
