Dear Parents and Guardians, Firstly, and most importantly, I would just like to say that I hope this newsletter finds you safe and well. I want to reassure you that although not in school and sadly unable to offer direct face to face careers guidance and advice, I am still here to help with any future plans or worries about college/careers/apprenticeships/HE that you may have during these very challenging and uncertain times. The strange return to school social story

We are now in the second phase of the lockdown and have been told to remain at home and in isolation for another three weeks. This week we should have been coming back to school after the Spring/Easter break, but schools remain closed to the majority of students, but still remain open for those students whose parents are classed as Key Workers. For some of you this would have been the final run in for your examinations and you would have been deep in preparation for the exam season. This cannot be easy for you as this was something that you have worked so hard for, but the school is here for you and the school will support you for the rest of this year and if you need it beyond. Sad News

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Morton. Joan was one of our kitchen staff and worked at Notre Dame for many years. Joan died yesterday after a 4 week battle against coronavirus. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Joan’s family during this difficult time.

IMPORTANT - notice to parents/carers with children eligible for Free School Meals

The government recently announced that there may changes to the way Free School Meal vouchers are distributed to parents during the school closure. If your child attends Notre Dame Catholic College and is eligible for Free School Meals please complete the survey with your contact details. This is important as if we do not have up to date details you may not receive the vouchers if the system changes.
