Scholastic Book Fayre 3rd - 10th October

Here at Notre Dame we are committed to supporting our students to develop a love of reading. Not only is it a vital skill for life but can be one of life’s great pleasures. We are therefore hosting a week long Scholastic Book Fayre. This will be held in the Alf Westwell Library and run by Mrs Rutherford and student volunteers. For each book sold the college will receive a percentage back in books for the college library. Scholastic have donated £25 worth of book tokens and there will be fun literacy competitions and quizzes throughout the week.

Cafod Fast Day

At the event (Adoremus, Liverpool) there were many inspirational Catholic speakers, including Cardinal Nichols, Katie Prejean McGrady, Pippa Baker, Dom Cain, Sarah McKay and Rick Netherwood. Moreover, we prayed for many people by pointing our arms towards them and closing our eyes during the event which also included Fr.Matthew, Fr. Thomas and Fr
