A Level Results Day Success!

Notre Dame Catholic College are delighted to announce a fantastic A Level and Level 3 performance from the ‘Class of 2022’!

Half of all A Level grades achieved were at grade A* to B. This surpasses the percentage achieved in the past 5 years and is more than double the percentage achieved in the last pre-pandemic examined year in 2019. Notable mentions go to:

  • James Power, who achieved an A*, a grade A and a grade B
  • Shea Quinn, who achieved 2 A grades and grade B
  • Lillie-Jo Irons, who achieved 2 distinction* and a distinction
  • Amy McAlan, who achieved a grade A, 2 grade Bs and a distinction*
  • Lily Boyle, who achieved a grade A, a grade B and a distinction

Notre Dame Catholic College are delighted that so many students will now continue their studies at some of the country’s leading universities, including University of York, University of Liverpool, Manchester Metropolitan University and University of Staffordshire.

Headteacher, Peter Duffy, said “This is a set of results of which the whole Notre Dame community can be proud. This constitutes a superb achievement by the year group and is testament to their diligence, commitment and hard work over the past seven years. This impressive set of results was achieved in the most challenging circumstances and could not have been achieved without the relentless support of parents, staff and governors. Thank you and well done to all involved.”

 

 

Head of Sixth Form, Kerry Nicol, said “We’re incredibly proud of every one of our students. They have been committed, hardworking and resilient and this has paid off in fantastic results. We wish every student the very best of luck in their next chapter.”
