Over seventy of our music, dance and drama students from all years provided a colourful and culturally diverse entertainment for delegates from across the country at the SSAT (Specialist Schools and Academies Trust) Arts Conference held at the BT Convention Centre on Tuesday 27 January.

At the morning registration, delegates were met by our three huge multi-cultural puppets, a dancing thirty-five metre Chinese Dragon, African drummers and Samba musicians and dancers, performing in the foyer. ‘Living’ statues (our very controlled drama students!) greeted guests at the end of the escalators as they went for coffee.

In the main reception area, as delegates made their way into the main auditorium, our students created a fantastic display of Balinese Gamelan music, Indonesian dance, majorette and freestyle dance skills.
